Another Year Older

Well, it is official--I am 33! I have to say that I don't feel like I am 33 at all but I guess I don't really know what 33 should feel like. I guess having two active girls keeps you feeling young and I am so thankful for that.
I had a great day. It started with taking a very excited 4 year old to her first day of preschool and then spending some one on one time with Abigail. She and I had so much fun together. After picking Aubrey up from school the girls and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at home before Brian got home. It was then gift opening and out to dinner.

I was craving Mexican so we tried out a local restaurant that proved to be fabulous and very yummy! Thanks to my husband, the waitors sang Happy Birthday to me in Spanish following our meal. Before they sang they placed a huge sombrero hat on my head (the girls looked at me like I was some sort of Mexican alien) and a tequila shot in front of me. What ever happened to chocolate cake with ice cream--or even a sopapilla?! Brian bailed me out of my shot and we then headed out for ice cream.
I am so thankful that I have experienced another wonderful year and have been so blessed! I am ready to tackle another year with God's guidance and live it according to His word. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special with birthday wishes whether they were in person; or via phone, snail mail, email, text message, etc.
