Under God's Sea

God has blessed me in many ways!!  As I watched my daughters perform in the church musical, I realized that once again...he was blessing me!  The feelings that I felt that evening/morning were many...pride, happiness, joy, warmth, thanks and accomplishment.  The girls have worked very hard with their church choir groups...Aubrey with the New Kingdom Singers & Abby with the Half Pints...since September.  Weekly (sometimes bi-weekly) practices that would last an hour but sometimes three hours.  No complaints out of their little mouths...even when we ran from the bus stop and ate sandwiches in the car so we could get there in time.  In fact...they LOVED going.  Their sweet voices filled our house, our vehicles, our backyard, and many other places as they practiced and practiced!  And, their hard work and joyful hearts were praising God all at the same time!
They performed beautifully in the church musical entitled "Under God's Sea in 3D" on Saturday evening and then again on Sunday for two services.  The entire group did fantastic.  Their voices filled the sanctuary and their smiles brightened the amazing set that Brian helped build.
Aubrey was one of the students of the Aquatic Academy and Abby was a jellyfish in God's sea.  Aubrey also performed a dance to one of the songs.  A few weeks before the performance Abby was given a little homework...to decide what sea creature she wanted to be.  She originally decided to be a shrimp but I couldn't come up with a way to make that happen so we decided a jellyfish would be just as good.  I had a great time making the costume and I have to say that she fit the jellyfish part pretty well.
Aubrey was full of animation throughout the musical.  They sang beautifully and their actions were fantastic!
Abby had a great time "swimming in the sea"!  I may be a little biased but I have to say that she was the cutest little jellyfish ever!  The girls were surprised by Grandma Sharon & Papa Steve on Sunday morning...they made a quick trip to watch them perform.  The girls had a great weekend!
