It's 5 O'clock In St. Louis

Wastin' away again at Margaritaville...Cheeseburger in paradise...Lookin' for my lost shaker of salt...It's five O'clock somewhere.
Can you guess what concert we went to?  Yep...Jimmy Buffett!!!  I love Buffett's songs and have always thought it would be so fun to go to one of his concerts sometime.  So, when we found out he was going to be in the Midwest we had to go.  He had a show right here in Kansas City but we knew we would be out of town that night...but since he was going to be in St. Louis just a few nights later I talked Brian in to taking a road trip.  I made a post on facebook about how excited I was and a few friends from our neighborhood commented that they would like to go with us...even more exciting!!
So, we all lined up grandparents to watch our kids, bought concert tickets, booked hotel rooms, and climbed into the mini van as we started our road trip to Buffett!
None of us had ever been to a Jimmy Buffett concert before so we didn't really know what to expect.  We pulled into the parking lot and tailgating parties were everywhere.
Megan and Gregg Spanel...
Megan and I with Jillian...
WOW!!  This was a serious Buffett fan!!  Check this bike out...it's even sporting a blender on the back with a gecko on top.
We bought lawn seats so we were a bit of a distance from the stage but Jimmy was there and he was singing his heart out!
It was pretty chilly, especially after the sun went down.  I was so glad we brought jackets and gloves.  I was in my winter coat by the time the evening was over.
 Jillian with her husband Jesse.
The Kansas City crew...Gregg, Megan, Jesse, Jillian, Me & Brian.  We are no longer Buffett virgins, I guess.  We have all mentioned that we would like to go to another Buffett concert...but this time we are going somewhere where we know it will be warm!!!
