We spent a lot of time in our basement when we lived in Wichita. The basement in our house here in Olathe has never given us a sense of homeyness. It has been very choppy and there is not enough room in any specific place to "hang out" or entertain. It has been good for company to have a place to stay and the girls have enjoyed spreading their toys from one corner to another. But, we want to be able to enjoy the area a lot more...so, we did a little remodeling project.

We are thrilled with out it turned out. We have spent more time down in our basement than we ever did before. We are excited to spend hot summer evenings in our cool basement.

Nice! Hope you're still taking visitors... Lance and Alayna may be attending camp in KC this summer, and Liam and I might tag along if we have a place to stay. :) I'll let you know when I know dates.

Wow...that looks great! Guess we'll have to make a trip up to KC to see you guys now that we'll be closer! And, we hope that we'll get to see you guys sometime when you're in Wichita too!!!
