These two girls bring me delight, joy, happiness, smiles, tears....and the list goes on. They are a gift from God and they give me the title Mom! They have been so excited to help me celebrate Mother's Day. There have been secret meetings behind locked doors...private craft sessions in the office...whispers...looks...shhh's...
It all made me smile and wonder what the three loves of my life were up too. My morning started off with a yummy cup of coffee delivered to me while I was getting ready for church.
Abby then gave me a beautiful tulip plant...I LOVE tulips...they are my favorite. My family knows that and that makes me feel special.
I then opened up Aubrey's gift...a notebook full of fantastic stuff that she made at school. I loved looking at all of the pages filled with beautiful pictures, sweet words and coupons for special times with my girl. They treated me to brunch after church and then a day spent in the back yard as we all planted the garden, filled the pots with beautiful flowers and found many slimy (cute to Aubrey & Abby) worms. They gave me other material gifts...but, the best gifts I received on this day was spending time with the girls and Brian and experiencing the special things they did for me! They know how to make this Mommy's days grand!!!
