First Time To The Kansas City Zoo With 1st Graders

We have lived in the Kansas City area for 4 years now.  We have been to the Kansas City Zoo zero (zilch, zip, 0) times in those four years.  When Aubrey's teacher was asking for volunteers to go on their fieldtrip to the zoo I raised my hand HIGH!  I'm not sure who was more excited...Aubrey or me!

The first grade teachers grouped the kids for the day at the zoo.  Each parent had two students...I had Aubrey and Jordan.  A few of us parents stuck together as we explored through Australia, Africa, etc.

Sydney, Madison, Rosie, Avery, Carolyn, Mya, Aubrey & Jordan.  He was such a good sport as he spent most of the day with all girls.  We finally found some of the boys after lunch and his smile became a little bigger.

I love this sweet picture and I loved spending the day with Aubrey and her sweet friends.  It is nice to know that she spends each day with such nice little people!
