She's Got Talent!

See this girl?  I am so proud of her!!!  She started taking piano lessons in January after Grammie & Poppie bought her some lessons.  She has loved it!  When a letter came out about a talent show at school she immediately said, "I want to do that".  So, she talked to her piano teacher and we discussed what it was going to be like...many people watching her, a lot more practice, she was going to be in the spotlight...and she her response?  "Yep, I want to do it!"
So, she picked her song and went to the audition.  She received the letter saying she made it into the talent show and kept practicing.  And then it was time for the BIG day!
She hardly ever complained about being nervous but she looks pretty nervous as she sits in her spot in the order of the talent show.  She was number 6...
...and she did great!  I could hardly hold the camera because I my hand was shaking but I did manage to get some pictures as she played each note perfectly!!!  (She did mess up the first two notes but she then started over and played it just like she has practiced.  The audience clapped and there were some cheers as well.  And, it was so sweet to watch many of her classmates say how good she did when she sat back down with them.  I am proud of her!!!
(Excuse the puking baby accompaniment).  The intermission entertainment was so funny that I had to share...the Clearwater Creek "Cheerleaders".  Aubrey's teacher, Mr. Dimmitt, and a second grade teacher, Mrs. Crocker, made us all laugh with their stunts, cheers, and talent show commentary.
Mrs. Crocker and Mr. Dimmitt...
