A Day Spent Learning Out In The Field...a.k.a. Field Day!!!

Aubrey was so excited for Field Day!!  It brought back fun memories as I thought back to my elementary school days...I really enjoyed Field Day too.  Aubrey's Field Day was beautiful...sun was shining and the breeze kept it cool.  Brian volunteered to help out with the activities of the day.  Abby & I joined them for lunch so we could see a few of the happenings.

Aubrey, Maisie, Avery & Ryann.  (Aubrey and Maisie have become good friends this year!  A fun fact about the two of them...Maisie's family were practically neighbors to us in Wichita.  We lived about 2 blocks from them...AND, Aubrey and Maisie were both born at Wesley Medical Center only 3 months apart.  We all had to move to Olathe to meet...crazy small world!)

The adults wanted in on the fun as well.  Brian and his good friend, Mike Hyer (Avery's dad) couldn't resist taking a zip down the slide.  Brian is on the left and Mike on the right.
