Being a Mother is one awesome thing! I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be a Mom and my daughters are so very special to me. I remember when I attended the Mother's Day tea with Aubrey when she was in preschool at Redeemer Lutheran like it was yesterday. I remember back to that day & think about how small Abby was...well, time definitely flies when you are having fun because this year I attended that Mother's Day tea with little Abby. I enjoyed it once again! The tea started off with some very sweet songs sung by the preschoolers. It took Abby a little while to warm up but she finally got into the groove.
It was fun to share this special memory with Grammie Ann who was here visiting.
When they were done singing & handing out their fun gifts to all of us mothers the children served us "tea" (water or lemonade) and doughnuts that they had spent the morning making. Abby did such a good job & was very careful!
The doughnuts were so very yummy...Abby ate 4!!!
Abby with her buddy Finn after they ate way too many doughnuts. Notice their silly faces...the sugar was kicking in. However, if you are ever around these two together they are rather crazy even without extra sugar.
We managed to calm Finn down for a semi-serious picture but notice Abby's crazy smile!
