On Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend we could see hot air balloons floating in the distant air as we ate breakfast on our patio. Not just a few but about 20...what was going on? It was a Hot Air Balloon Festival being held in Gardner at a park located not even 10 miles away. That evening we attended the balloon launch and night glow...Wow, what an experience!

There were so many fun designs on each of the balloons. The kids ooh'ed & ahh'ed at each one.
We finally made it over to the area where the balloons were filling up & launching. The kids (Abby, Trace, Addie, Aubrey & Jack...missing a few others) had a first row seat.
The night glow was breathtaking as the balloons lit up as the sky became dark. Beautiful!!!
