When we moved from Wichita to Olathe the moving company told us that they would charge us $2000.00 to move our playset. Wow! That's a little steep...we could buy a new one for that (not only one but two). The playset did move however...to Pratt, Kansas to live with Brian's Mom & Step-Dad. Over the past 3 years Aubrey has still had a chance to visit her playset when we go to see Grandma & Papa. They are in the process of moving & we had started to think about buying a playset to entertain the girls in our backyard. During one of our conversations with Brian's Mom she asked if we would like the playset back. We of course said "Sure"! They offered to disassemble parts of it & transport it all the way to Olathe. And, that's not all they did...they stained it a beautiful deep brown, purchased replacement parts, and got some new sand to fill the sandbox with. The girls were so excited when this pulled into our driveway...a house on wheels.
The neighbors gathered to help us unload the playset & all of it's parts as the re-building process began.
The building crew hard at work...and I mean HARD! They were able to put this thing back together in less than 1 day!
Abby is a swing lover! She would swing all day long if she could. So, it didn't surprise me when she was on the first assembled swing long before any of the others were in place.
Thank you Grandma & Papa!!! We love it!
