On May 21st the girls and I hopped on a plane to Albuquerque, NM to visit my parents who live in Farmington (about 3 hours north of Albuquerque). This was Abigail's first plane ride and the first one for Aubrey where she knew what was going on. They both traveled great! Abigail was a bit wiggly but settled in for a nap near the end of our flight. Aubrey was fascinated by everything out of her window--the clouds, houses, land, mountains, and all the helicopters at the airport.
Abby & Poppa Art
Jadyn & Aubrey work on their balance while Ella plays with the trains, which is one of her favorite things...
and they all enjoyed the huge bubble tub. The older girls made some pretty good bubbles and Abigail did quite a bit of taste testing!
Jen graciously invited us over to their new home in Albuquerque for some lunch so the girls could continue playing and we could do some more visiting and catching up. Everyone enjoyed themselves and Aubrey, Jadyn and Ella got pretty creative with their play. After we had cleaned up lunch Jen was giving me a tour of her home when she peaked in the girls' bedroom. She immediately started chuckling and told me to go get my camera. The following picture is what we saw. Aubrey and Jadyn had dressed Ella up as a baby--diaper, bottle and all. They were even singing her lullabies! Too cute!
It was so nice to have a chance to get the girls together and great to see Jen. Hopefully, Brian and her husband Matt will be able to join us next time. We missed them both!
