This past fall we were invited to be part of a fantastic group that some of our neighbors began. We call ourselves "Families with Purpose". Each month we have a service oriented activity that involves our children in volunteering and helping others. This month our family was the featured family and we were in charge of planning the activity. So, this afternoon 7 families joined at Animal Haven which is a local animal shelter. We visited some of the animals and donated some fun toys. We then decorated the front of the building by planting flowers.
