This is the cabin that we called home for a week and the view we woke up to every morning. It was amazing. This place was fully equipped & met all of our needs...even a loft full of toys for the kids!
The location was away from the town of Cody & far enough from the road that you couldn't hear traffic. The air was refreshing & the mood was relaxing!

On the second day of our stay we decided to lay low & enjoy a day around the cabin. We decided to explore the land around the cabin by taking a hike. We set off up the mountain & enjoyed looking back at how far we had come. The view kept getting more & more beautiful the farther we would climb.

The girls did a great job. I was amazed at how high Aubrey hiked...she was a trooper. Abigail had the luxury of riding in a backpack type seat on Daddy or Uncle Lance's back but of course she fussed because she wanted to be walking independently like the rest of us.

Lance climbed up on top of a rock peak jetting out from one of the mountains. Since he went the highest he had to take a self portrait. The best comment he made while he was up there was "This isn't the best place for someone who is afraid of heights".

Poppa Art took the kids on a mini hike near the cabin. The longer grass tickled their legs a bit so they all ended up being carried at one time or another.

That afternoon we headed down the mountain to fish in a small lake. This was the first time for Abby & Stanton to actually fish on their own...well partially on their own for a couple seconds here or there.
