We have had a monkey in our house lately...we'll say her name is Abby. Oh, that is our 2 year old. She has been crawling out of her crib every since our return from Yellowstone on a regular basis...three to four times a night regular. Although she does this with extreme grace it is time that she graduate to her toddler bed before she does hurt herself.
I have to admit that I have been dreading her complete freedom to roam around the house as she wishes (until we hear tiny, quiet sounds that alert us of her escape). But, the transition has been much smoother than we thought it would be. Don't get me wrong she does get up at least once before falling asleep & she now awakens us during the middle of the night by using her sweet voice requesting help to find her binky or a drink...but it was definitely time for her to graduate. And that means that our baby is no longer a baby!!!
