Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER...God has risen, He has risen indeed! We had a very nice Easter morning...the wind blew, the rain fell, and the sun hid behind the clouds but the time spent with family & remembering how Christ died for our sins was beautifully bright!
My Easter morning started out so sweet. I greeted Aubrey with a Happy Easter when her little eyes opened and she said "Mom, I am so excited for today". I immediately thought how fabulous that was and she continued on by saying, "You can have some candy today". I had given up desserts for Lent and my sweet tooth daughter was definitely looking out for me.
After a fabulous breakfast we headed out in the rain to celebrate with others and hear an Easter message. It was then back to Grandma & Papa's for Easter basket treats and a delicious Easter lunch shared with the Ingram's & some friends of Sharon & Steve's.

After lunch the Easter bunny hid plastic eggs all over the house and the kids had so much fun running from spot to spot as they found the filled eggs.

They each found a ton of eggs filled with either candy or money. Packages of gum were the rave and definitely Abigail's favorite. She is a gum addict and feels like big stuff as she chews away.
