Grant's Farm

On Saturday morning we headed to Grant's Farm...a top local attraction in St. Louis and is ranked nationally as the seventh-best family attraction. The Farm takes its name from our 18th President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant. In the 1850s, Grant founded and farmed a portion of the 281 acres. In 1907 August Busch, Sr. purchased this land. Today, this land is home to Grant's Farm and is preserved as a living symbol of the Busch family's love for animals and Anheuser-Busch's commitment to wildlife conservation and preservation.
Our visit started off with a bus ride through the park to the "top" which is where all of the activities are located. However, on our ride we were able to see many animals enjoying breakfast on the lawn. The buffalo taken in this picture below was really this close. I swear that the camera is not zoomed. Crazy!

Below are various forms of deer that call Grant's Farm home.
Once we arrived to the top of Grant's Farm the real fun began. There were baby goats to feed, more animals to see, and a carousel to ride.

Grant's Farm is also home to some of Anheuser-Busch's Clydesdale horses...the Budweiser horses. These horses are so big and so beautiful. We had a chance to see some new babies with their mothers.
