About 2 months ago when we decided to take this trip to St. Louis we scanned the websites to find places to visit. One of those places was The Magic House and Cinderella happened to be visiting on the same weekend we were. So, we just had to sign Aubrey up to attend her special tea.

Aubrey and I arrived at the tea after lunch while Brian & Abigail went back to the hotel for a quick afternoon nap. Aubrey was dressed to the T in her Cinderella blue. She was super excited as we made our way to our assigned table and she kept asking me when Cinderella was going to come. To pass the time she decorated her tiara and met some new little girls that were at our table also. Finally, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother arrived and the tea began. She started off with the beginning of the Cinderella story. When she told us that Cinderella wanted to attend the Royal Ball that evening but she had to many chores to finish Cinderella appeared in her ragged house clothes. The Fairy Godmother then did her magic and after a "Bippity, Boppity, Boo" she told Cinderella to return to her room where she would find a beautiful dress to wear to the Ball.

As Cinderella dressed for the Ball, Aubrey & I enjoyed a plate of delicious desserts. Aubrey sipped on some apple juice (complete with sugar cube...she had to have one in her "tea" since I had one in mine!) while I enjoyed my tea. It was fun to practice manners and spend some time with my little princess.

Cinderella was then ready for the ball and she made her way through the room to autograph each little princesses notebook. Aubrey had colored Cinderella a picture on the way to the tea and she felt so proud to give it to her. Her smile was definitely contagious.

Prince Charming and The Fairy Godmother also made their rounds to say hello to each little girl and provide their autographs too.

This event was so magical. The twinkle in Aubrey's eyes was beautiful. She is now excited to have a tea of her own. How fun!
