Octopus Garden

Aubrey's dance class was invited to perform at a local high school dance team's year end finale show this past weekend. Aubrey was excited to be able to wear her pretty purple costume and get her hair done. She had been practicing daily on her dance to "Octopus Garden" so she knew her stuff.
The performance was adorable. The girls came out doing the chasse (sliding/hopping sideways) and they just kept going until they were all on the opposite side of the stage. (They were supposed to stop so that they spread out across the stage.) They all had beautiful smiles on their faces but you could see the "oh my" look in their eyes as they saw the lights and audience. They did great...still some work to do before their recital but they each LOVED performing.

At the end of the dance they do the tondue before exiting. Great job Aubrey!
