Our fun week with family has quickly come to an end--time flies when you are having fun! Our last day together started off with a trip to a local Children's Museum, in the afternoon the guys enjoyed some clay pigeon shooting, and the evening was spent taking in a few more sites of the Kansas City area. On Thanksgiving evening the Country Club Plaza turns on their lights for the holiday season so we had to take the opportunity to see the beauty.
Our evening was complete with a horse drawn carriage ride through the streets that make up the Plaza. The kids loved it and hung in there even though it was a little chilly. The warm cup of coffee/hot chocolate/flavorful steamed milk was a special treat after our ride.

We drove down Ward Parkway on our way home and saw some beautiful homes with amazing Christmas decorations. What a relaxing evening! Thanks again to Grandma, Mom & Dad, and the Custers for spending some special times with us.
