This morning we went to Target to get a few storage containers to tidy up Aubrey's room. Things are a little out of control in there--Barbies, Polly Pockets, baby accessories, etc.We picked up the storage containers which to my surprise were all on sale. Since we were there we had to walk down the toy aisle and we hit the JACKPOT! Employees were very busy clearing off shelves, marking down items and then reorganizing them on different shelves marked CLEARANCE. I quickly gave each of the girls something to keep them entertained and then I began shopping. We have a few birthday parties and baby showers coming up and I was able to find things for each of those events. Most things were 50% off and some were 75% off. I couldn't believe it.
Once we returned home, I totaled up how much I had saved. If I would have paid the regular price I would have paid $111.68 but my total was $61.59. That is a savings of over $50. And, the only thing I bought for the girls was some sidewalk paint and storage containers.

Way to go! I love getting great deals...especially when I go to Target. It seems so easy to spend $100 each time I go--it just adds up so quickly. Perhaps I'll have to run to our Target tomorrow to see if they are doing the same thing. Have a great week!
