During all of our time on the beach Abigail let us know over and over again that she was not interested. She did not want to walk in the sand even with swim shoes on, she didn't really want to play in it, and she definitely did not want to get too close to the water. However, her timid actions were completely gone on our last beach day. She woke up from a morning nap and decided she would LOVE to take part in our fun. She started out by walking in the sand around our "camp site" and then headed down to the ocean as she held onto Brian's hand. Quickly she was having a lot of fun as the small waves came up to her feet and she didn't seem to mind the cool water. I am so glad she enjoyed the beach before we headed home.
She heads out with Daddy to feel the water.
"Daddy, do you really think I can do this by myself?"
"Maybe I should have Chase help me out a little bit"
"Now I have the hang of it and I am a pro at this beach stuff!"
