SURPRISE!

We love surprises and we had a chance to be in on a very special one. Our brother-in-law, Lance, turned 30 on March 28th. He has officially joined our "group" of those over 30. Livia planned a surprise birthday party for this past Saturday at a local sport's bar that Lance enjoys. The room was decorated with 30 balloons of various colors, 3 large TV's (so a minute in sports would not be missed), 3 delicious cakes, great food, and lots of friends and family. For the most part the surprise was pulled off. He had no idea that he was getting ready to attend his birthday party until he entered the restaurant. His final surprise of the night was receiving a big flat screen TV from his wife.

Livia is the only one of us that is still in her 20's and she has been in on many surprise birthday parties for us, so she better watch out for her 30th. We have had enough practice that we know what we are doing and we are going to throw her a party she will never forget.

Their son, Stanton, was tuckered out after a long and busy day. After the initial surprise he had to settle in for an evening nap so he could enjoy the rest of the party. He slept very soundly despite all of the laughter and fun.
