Full Of Color

I have really been enjoying the colors of Spring as they are starting to pop up & out.  Green is starting to fill our lawn & little buds are appearing on the trees & shrubs.  One activity I enjoy around this time of year that is filled with color is the dying of eggs.

The girls dipped their eggs in various colors...blue, pink, peach, green, purple & yellow.  Then they sat so very patiently for about 5 minutes while the color solution did it's magic.

Then it was time to pull them out of the water & the girls' smiles kept getting bigger with each egg they extracted from the water.  We also decorated some eggs with the pretty wraps that cling to the eggs when you put them in boiling water.  They are very fun to watch.
And, our final products...we are ready for a very COLORFUL Easter!  We have been telling the Easter story to the girls.  It has been fun to see how much Aubrey has remembered from hearing it over the past years.  She shares what she knows with her little sister who is hopefully soaking it all up!
