Easter

HE IS RISEN!  HE IS RISEN INDEED!  What a glorious Easter Sunday!  The sun was shining, the birds were singing, we were spending the day with family & our sins have been washed away!  Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!!!

We woke up in Newton on Easter Sunday & spent the day with Brian's Dad & step-mom Jan.  We started off with the girls opening their Easter baskets.

We headed off to church & were joined by Brian's step-sister, Shelly & her family.  They also have two girls, Alley & Avery.  They all looked so cute in their Sunday best.  The older three girls went up to the front of the church to join the other kiddos singing some songs.

I couldn't resist this picture of the girls jumping off the ledge at church into some old leaves.  They did this over & over!  We enjoyed a very yummy feast after church before the girls (& adults) headed outside in the Kansas wind to see if the Easter Bunny had left any eggs.

Guess what!  He did!!!  Here are the "A" girls...Abby, Ally, Avery & Aubrey.  Happy Easter everyone!  Thank you Papa John & Grandma Jan for all the Sunday fun & goodies!
