We continue to participate in the Families With Purpose group that we are part of. It has been fun to watch how it is all making more sense to Aubrey as she gets older. We have been talking alot to her about "giving it away" to others...your time, yourself, your resources, etc.
For the November activity we headed down to the heart of Kansas City, MO to lend a hand at Harvester's which is a local food bank that supplies to an extremely large surrounding area. Aubrey was excited to see what it was all about & she (as well as her friends) dove right into the work. We were given the job of sorting out canned vegetables & packaging them up.
It was a lot of fun! Aubrey had a blast & as you can see got a kick out of seeing how cans she could carry at one time...as you can see one of them is slipping out of her hands as the pictures was snapped. She is already asking when she can go back & help again.
