Aubrey's last day of school for 2009 was on Friday, the 18th of December. She is very excited for a looooong break but she was ready to go to school for that last day of the year because she knew there was a lot of fun in store. And that is because her school Christmas party was taking place. What made it even more special was that Daddy was able to be there since he was off that day.
The party started out with a snack of popcorn & cookies. It was then time to make their Christmas tree goody bag so they had a place to put all of the stuff that they were getting ready to make.
They had a lot of fun making pretzel stick snowmen & candy cane reindeer. They both turned out absolutely adorable. We can't wait to make the pretzel stick snowmen again next year...it was a very clever idea!!
I do believe that Aubrey enjoyed giving her teachers presents the most. Here she is with Mrs. Behm (the aide that assists in her room) who was very gracious for her gift from Aubrey. She also received an extra special hug from Mrs. Fyffe who told Aubrey that she meant a lot to her. Aubrey was ALL smiles!
As the party wrapped up & they all gathered their stuff to go home, Mrs. Fyffe started playing some Christmas music which made all of the girls get their dancing shoes on.
We are all looking forward to Christmas break...Aubrey is out of school for almost 3 weeks...but I know that she will be just as excited to return to school as she was to get out.
