We have had some special guests from Ecuador & New Mexico in our house this past week. During the 1998-1999 school year, Carla Bigoni spent the year with my family as an exchange student. She was married to Jorge about 2 years ago. He has never been to the United States and when she found out she would be traveling to Florida for a meeting it worked out perfectly for them to come spend a week in Kansas beforehand. My parents drove to Cheney and met them at the Wichita airport. They spent the weekend in Wichita with Livia & her family before driving to our house on Sunday.
A relaxing morning was spent at our house on Monday before heading out for a busy afternoon. We took them to the Arabia Steamboat Museum to share a little Kansas City history with them. It was then off to the Crown Center. The weather was beautiful so we grabbed a smoothie and then headed outside to the fountains for some water fun.

Carla & Aubrey enjoyed looking at high the fountains could go and how hard the water would splash. Aubrey wanted to run in the water so bad but she was afraid she would get really wet...so
Grammie Ann took off with Abigail through the spurts of water and Aubrey was soon to follow.

Brian met us at the Crown Center for our water time fun and enjoyed the playtime with the girls.
