A Very Merry Christmas

Christmas, the day when Jesus' birth is celebrated, was a lot of fun in our house this year. With two little girls that are full of smiles and in good health what more could you ask for? It has been fun watching them get excited about various things through this holiday season. Abigail has been fascinated with lights, lights, and more lights. She gets such a chuckle when the Christmas tree is bright! Aubrey has enjoyed learning more about the Christmas story and the true meaning of Christmas but has also been very excited about Santa Clause. Her little mind has really been turning this year as she has asked us many questions! It makes you feel like a kid again as you experience Christmas through your children. What fun!
This Christmas was a little unique...we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day just the four of us in our home. We attended Christmas Eve service and enjoyed the message. It was very special to celebrate together. We then returned home for supper before opening one gift each...new PJs for all! The girls changed into their new PJs, Mommy popped popcorn, and Daddy planned our Christmas light tour. The girls loved looking at all of the pretty lights and our favorite was a neighborhood that calls themselves Christmas Card Lane. It was then home for some sleep before Santa arrived.
AND SURE ENOUGH HE DID!
We enjoyed a relaxing morning of gift opening, playing with new toys, listening to Christmas music, wishing our family Merry Christmas, singing Happy Birthday to Jesus, and enjoying each other. We hope that you had a Very Merry Christmas as well and we send our wishes your way! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Alayna and Catherine wore those exact Christmas dresses a few years ago! Well... I think Alayna's was black and Catherine's was red... CUTE
