Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Aubrey, Happy Birthday to you! Five years old...so hard to believe! I believe that this has been the birthday that has affected me the most. Five seems like such a BIG age....No longer a toddler but a little girl. This next year will bring many changes: kindergarten, doing more things independently, and learning new things. Aubrey is very excited about riding the school bus. I told her many months ago that she would be able to ride the school bus when she was 5 and going to kindergarten. The morning of her birthday she asked me if she was 5. When I said yes she said, "Yes, now I can ride the school bus". (Well, she has a little while longer to wait!) Aubrey began her birthday at Grandma Sharon's house and was surprised with a cinnamon roll cake complete with 5 candles and the family chorus singing Happy Birthday. She was all smiles. We then headed back to Wichita and enjoyed lunch at Chuck E. Cheese.
The birthday girl enjoyed the pizza but her favorite thing was playing all the games! Emily & Aubrey participated in the birthday celebration dance and parade with Chuck E. 
Aubrey & Chase enjoyed a roller coaster ride. They felt like they were on the real deal.
