Abby had a great time on her 1st preschool field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. I was almost as excited because we never had the chance to go on Aubrey's due to cancellations & extremely cold weather when it was planned. The day Abby & I went turned out to be beautiful & absolutely perfect. We arrived at
Schaake's Pumpkin Patch & Abby was immediately attracted to all of the beautiful pumpkins they had arranged...and I enjoyed using them as a backdrop to some cute pictures!
Here is Abby with her two buddies Finn & Logan who attend Redeemer Preschool but are also neighbors.
It was then time to head out to the pumpkin patch so we hopped onto a trailer filled with
hay bails. Abby wasn't too sure about riding on the side of a trailer but tolerated the quick trip. Once we arrived to the middle of the pumpkin patch we saw beautiful, green pumpkin vines that were almost as tall as Abby. She had a bit of a hard time getting around in them but was determined to do it so she could find her perfect pumpkin.
It was then back to the front of the Pumpkin Patch for playtime & snack. Abby sure did enjoy the slide &
hay bail maze...in fact she wasn't too fond of leaving when it was time.
Our Little Pumpkin sure had a great time & is very proud of the perfect sized
pumpking she picked out.
