Grandma Week

The girls just finished having a busy but fun week. I worked some extra hours at work so Grandma Pankratz came to help out with the girls during that time. The girls enjoyed the extra time they had to spend with her. They played around the house with the same old toys but there was always a twist that Grandma Pankratz would add to make it feel like something new.
Grandma Pankratz brought the miniature train set that belonged to the girls' Great Grandpa Wiebe (her dad). They had a great time looking at the track, the engines, the various cars & all of the accessories.

Over the weekend we all went to a new lake & park that we happened to come across. We started out with fishing...and...Brian caught a good sized catfish. I completely spaced out and did not get a picture of it before he threw it back in the water. Mom Pankratz did get one so I will have to post that picture at a later time just to prove that he did get one! Later in the morning the girls had a great time playing on the playground equipment.

Grandma Pankratz...thank you so much for coming to stay with us. We had a great time with you and look forward to our next time together. Mom Pankratz...a great big thank you! You were such a big help to us as we went through our busy week!
