We continue to be involved with our local Families With Purpose group and June was OUR month. That means that our family comes up with the service orientated activity/event for everyone to get involved with. Last year my Mom brought The Great American Bake Sale nationwide event to my attention but we were a little too late to participate. But, this year we got all of our ducks in a row & held our bake sale during our neighborhood garage sale. If you are not familiar with this nationwide event then I will tell you that the proceeds go towards helping feed less fortunate children in America.
Our sale was very successful! It was so fun to watch the kids hand out goodies to our customers & know that all of those little hands were helping others exactly like them!
