To Grammie & Poppa's House Aubrey Goes; Part 1

I still remember going to visit my Grandmother for a week when I was five & now it is Aubrey's turn. I have such fond memories of my week & I pray that Aubrey is making some as well.
Aubrey flew back to NM with Poppa Art. She was such a big girl (with a big backpack on her back). She was very excited & the smile on her face couldn't get much bigger. She did great saying goodbye & did not shed one tear. However, I had to turn my head a few times so Aubrey wouldn't be able to see the tears in my eyes. What a big step for all of us.
They arrived safely in NM with Grammie Ann awaiting their arrival. She has planned a ton of things to keep them busy & to keep Aubrey entertained. Aubrey took her doll Sandy & they both were surprised with matching nightgowns. What a special treat!!!

Aubrey has also been busy with playtime on Grammie & Poppa's swingset, story time at the library, reading the 21 books she checked out from the library, eating at McDonalds & meeting a friend in the play area, going to the movie theatre to watch the movie "Up", planning & preparing for a party with her dolls, napping, craft time at the library, shopping, swimming, & coloring pictures for Mommy & Daddy.

It has been quite a bit different around here with only one child. We miss Aubrey & are looking forward to when we see her again but know that she is having such a good time. I will post more about Aubrey's week vacation at the Merrick resort near the end of her stay. So, stay tuned...
