Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun!

Aubrey has been taking dance classes at Leigh's School of Dance since November and has really enjoyed learning various tap and ballet steps. Today she showed us all her stuff at her FIRST dance recital--I can't believe it. She did an oustanding job and loved every minute of it. We were all so proud of her. She performed two routines--one tap and one ballet. The tap routine was to the song "Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun" and the ballet routine was to the song "Everybody Have Fun Tonight". The theme of the recital was The 80's.

It was a very special day for Aubrey and she was absolutely thrilled that her family was there to help her enjoy it. She sends a special thank you to everyone who traveled many miles to watch her perform and to those who were unable to make it but were thinking about her. After she was all dressed and ready to go on stage she asked me "Is everyone here and ready to watch me?" After I said yes her little face just brightened up a little more.
