We spent the weekend in Wichita to share some special events with our family! We had a great time and enjoyed every minute with everyone. We arrived on Friday evening just in time to catch our nephew Chase's T-ball game. He did a great job hitting the ball and running the bases. He looked so cute with his ball cap and glove. We then rushed over to our niece Emily's T-ball game to catch the last 10 minutes. However, she showed us everything she could do on Saturday morning during another T-ball game. She definitely knows her stuff as she rounded the bases, threw the ball and batted. Their Dad, Chad, is a coach for both teams.
After the T-ball game on Saturday we were able to catch our other nephew Stanton's first swim lesson. He did great and seemed to really enjoy the water. Livia helped him perform all the skills he was learning. He should turn into a little fish by the end of the summer. It was then off to meet a high school friend, Jarret, and his daughter Abbye for lunch. It was great to see them for a little while and catch up.
Happy Birthday to Michelle and Chad! We celebrated their birthdays Mexican style with a delicious meal topped off by some wonderful desserts. It was fun to spend time with the birthday couple, Emily, Chase, Brian's Dad and Jan, Brian's Mom and Steve, and Chad's parents. Chad was surprised by a Nintendo Wii. Brian and Chad had a great time testing it out!

Sunday morning we celebrated Father's Day (a little early) with Brian's Dad. We enjoyed a delicious homemade brunch, some visiting, and games on the Wii. It is such a blessing to have such supportive parents who love us so much!
Sunday afternoon it was off to Century II to watch Emily perform in her dance recital. She looked dazzling in her adorable costume. Emily did a great job and did not miss a beat. Aubrey watched the entire performance with big eyes and is now very excited for her recital in a couple of weeks.
