Halloween Party Fun

Aubrey had her first class party as an elementary school this past Friday. Aubrey, as well as all of the kids in her class, looked so cute. They began their party by parading around the school for all of the other classes to see.
It was then time for the party to begin. They started off with a pumpkin craft that turned out really cute.
It was then time to play "Wrap The Mummy". Aubrey had a great time being the mummy. All of the kids had a great time tearing off the toilet paper & trying to make their friends' look like a real mummy! It was a fun way to watch them work together as a team.
The highlight of the party was snack as they iced & decorated their own cupcakes as well as enjoy some Halloween candy & goldfish.
As you can see, Aubrey's cupcake was completely covered with various candies...and she didn't touch it at all. In fact that yummy looking cupcake went into the trash can. I wish I could do that when sweet things are right in front of my face...I guess I should encourage that behavior. Hee, hee!
This is Aubrey with the classmates that are assigned to her table. Mya is sitting directly across from her & they have known each other for a few years as they attended preschool together prior to Kindergarten.
I have been impressed with Aubrey's teacher from the beginning of school & after watching her work with the kids through the party my like for her continually grows. She is so calm, patient, kind, soft-spoken & totally has it all together. Happy Halloween CWC Kindergartners!!!
