Abigail

Now that Aubrey is in school every morning, Abigail & I have quite a bit of time together...just the two of us! And, we have been having quite a bit of fun filling that time up. I will admit that there are days we fill up the time with errand running or exercising at the Y but for the most part we enjoy some leisurely time at home. Oh wait, it isn't always leisurely because this little girl is busy...VERY busy! I just love how her personality is blossoming, her interests are changing, & she likes to learn new things.
Abigail loves to play with various types of things including blocks that she not only stacks but lines up one after the other. She has also become very fond of helping in the kitchen. And, she gets right in there with the mixing, pounding, measuring, etc. Oh, and the licking of the spoons or bowls afterwards. And, I agree...that is sometimes the best part!

Abigail loves to mimic her older sister! They play baby dolls like there is no tomorrow & dress up just as much! When she came trotting upstairs with this on I could not resist the picture moment!

Now, we get pretty serious around here as well...as you see she is already reading the daily paper and keeping up with the major headlines. Ok, maybe that is quite an exaggeration. She does enjoy reading, puzzles, coloring, and computer games though.

And, outdoor play is a must with this little girl. The weather has been so nice this fall that we have taken advantage of the time outside right before Aubrey gets home as we wait for her bus to arrive.

We have enjoyed each morning as we spend time together & allow our relationship to grow but it is always a special treat when big sister, Aubrey, comes running off the bus with her arms wide open with hugs for both of us!
