This weekend has been so much fun! It has been three days of relaxation & family time. What a perfect way to celebrate the Independence of Our Country! We have spent a lot of time outdoors, especially at our neighborhood pool. Friday afternoon we met some neighbors for a swim & cookout lunch. It had been raining all morning but it dried up just in time. The clouds were rolling by all afternoon and the sun did manage to peek through every once in awhile.
On Saturday afternoon we headed back to the pool and we had the entire place to ourselves! It was great. The water was a bit cool but it managed to entertain the kids long enough to wear them out for long afternoon naps. Brian and I were counting on them taking long naps so they would be able to stay up & watch some fireworks without becoming too cranky!
