Why is it that we don't always say what we want to or need to? Why don't we tell someone how much we appreciate them every chance we get? I don't know the answer to that but I do know that I definitely do not do this as much as I should. So, I am going to shout it out...Brian is an excellent father to our two girls. He does so much with & for them. They are definitely two lucky girls!This past week I had dinner plans with some friends one evening so Brian was on full duty. He decided it was a perfect evening for a trip to the park. He packed up a sack supper & loaded the girls in the van. They had a great time having a picnic supper & playing on all of the playground equipment.
Aubrey goes round and round while Abigail attempts to climb up the slide.
They returned home not long after I had walked in the door. They were all hot & worn out so the next item on Daddy's agenda felt great...a water balloon fight! Aubrey jumped right in there & started throwing balloons left & right as well as squeezing them in her hand so she could get wet herself.
Watch out Daddy, here comes a big, wet waterballoon!
And, then it was Mommy's turn to have a little fun!
