Playing In The Snow

We have had quite a winter around here.  The month of January and the beginning of February has been full of snow fall and freezing temperatures.  Aubrey has been out of school for 6 snow days.  At one time the snow drifts were almost as tall as Aubrey and definitely as tall as Abby...and that meant that it was time to get out and play in the white stuff.
Snow Angels were a must.  I'm thinking that it may be time for a new snowsuit next winter...this girl is growing!
You have to make sure that you know what the snow tastes like.  She quickly figured out that it is cold!!
Sliding down the slide into a drift of snow was one of the funnest things for them.  In fact, it led to begging me to get a shovel and pile the snow up on the slide so they could repeat this fun activity over and over.
Burying Aubrey and her friend Madison in the snow.  It was fun to watch all of the snow fall off of them when they got up.
One afternoon Aubrey, a few of her friends, and Abby built a snowman with some help from Brian.  The fun thing was...he hung out with us for awhile since the temperatures were so low.

I'm sure you guys got are tired of seeing the snow, but I have to say that I am super-jealous. No snow for me this year...okay, I did see A flake in the air one day. People around here consider that "snowing", and I just had to laugh. Of course, this week it's 70+ temps and I'm sweating because of the humidity...nice! :) Glad to see you enjoyed all your snow (and I did miss reading your blog posts, so glad to "see" you back!).
