Papa John & Grandma Jan came to visit in July and we had a great time having them here to experience some of KC with us. We headed down to Crown Center in the early afternoon and then hit the Royal's game with some tailgating before the game started.
The weather was definitely hot & the sun was bright but that didn't stop us from firing up the grill. The hotdogs, brats, jalapeno poppers & other fixings were delicious.
Once our tummies were full we headed into the game. We had pretty good seats so that the girls could get into the game experience a bit.
Aubrey was such a trooper...she started to not feel real well before the game started but she hung in there & managed to muster a bit of a smile for the camera.
The girls had a good time at the kid area of the stadium. They enjoyed the carousel & Abby had a great time climbing all over the jungle gym.
