We're Expecting

Surprise!  We are extremely excited to share the news that we are expecting a new family member...a sweet dog!  The girls (especially Aubrey) have been asking us to get a dog for quite some time.  They have been very patient & have resorted to playing dog between themselves.  The hook the dog leash onto one of them & the other walks "the dog" around.  A few weeks ago Brian was looking on Craig's list for a new saw.  He mistakenly typed Beagle into the search engine.  That simple mistake (I don't think it was too much of a mistake) set the wheels in motion of putting the girls' request into a reality.  We spent a lot of time looking at various rescue dogs & have found our match...a 7 month Sharp Eagle (part Beagle & part Shar-Pei).  We contacted the rescue & they brought him to our house for a visit.  He is such a sweet dog.  He was very quiet during his visit (probably in quite a bit of shock) but his caretaker reassures us that he is very playful as well.  It didn't take us long to figure out that he was meant to be part of our family.  We will bring him to our house sometime next week.

His name is Phineas O'Toole...Phin for short.  This brings us to another point.  Abby's best friend's name is Finn (pronounced the same as the dog's name) so we are searching for a new name for our newest family member.  We have a couple of names that we like but would like some votes to help us narrow that down.  The names we like are...

Fletcher

Bosley

Bosco
