We headed to the Royal's game with our Families With Purpose friends for a rainy evening baseball game & to donate some baseball equipment that the Royal's then give to children that could use those items. We were really hoping for a nice, sunny, Sprin evening for our event but we still enjoyed the game & the company.
This was the first time the girls had been to a Royal's game so they were pretty excited.
They Royal's led the game but ended up losing in the 12th inning. Quite a long game! We did end up leaving a bit early but did stay until the end of the 9th inning.
Here is Aubrey with her good buddy, Micaela. They had a great time at the game and especially enjoyed their cotton candy! In the picture below, the girls are with Jack & James (Micaela's brother).
Abby had it all figured out by the end of the game...just snatch Daddy's hat & put it on backward so she could still see the game. We were all so impressed how well the kids did through a rainy, cool baseball game. In fact, we didn't hear one complaint or "I want to go home" through the entire evening. What a great bunch of kids!

Love the peeking out of the hat picture! :) My kids would have been complaining! That's awesome that they just enjoyed it in spite of the weather!
