At preschool they have show & tell about three times during the year and she has been asking regularly when the next time is. Well, it happened to be this week and was she ever excited!
Back in November when we were visiting Papa John, he and Aubrey found this bird's nest on the ground by one of his trees. She immediately thought it would be fun to take it and show her friends at school during the next show & tell. So, we have been saving this little nest for quite some time.
Aubrey told me that she explained to her friends that birds make these out of twigs and mud and that bird live in them. She then said, "Mom, everyone said I brought the best show & tell". She was pretty proud. Thank you Papa for sharing your nest with us!
